This past week has certainly been an eventful one. In a world full of uncertainty we are very fortunate to have each other and our new baby Hunter. Hunter is a week old today and is such a sweet addition to our family. He is very chill and laid back so far and has definitely been our bright spot this week.
The girls are absolutely in love with him and enjoy reading and singing to him. We’ve gotten outside a few times when the rain has let up for some puddle jumping and walks. I’m still in a boot so the walks have been a little rough but Hunter loves being snuggled in the Solly wrap. He also loves to eat! His latch has been great and we’ll see how much weight he has gained during our appointment tomorrow. Hunter also loves to look at himself in the mirror and taking selfies – which the girls think is hilarious.

There have been a lot of ups and downs this week. We are heartbroken along with Bailey that she will not be going back to school for the rest of the school year and I will admit that I am scared of what’s to come. However we are making a conscious effort to take everything one day at a time and to remind ourselves how fortunate we are to have one another.
